What's new
The notes for each version of the game, from newest to oldest. Maps, models and rules are also updated through the service, without a new version in the store; those updates arrive when you load a game.
- Version 0.1.37
A single New route button: your first tap decides the kind — stops and terminals make a passenger route, industries and warehouses a freight route. Freight routes buy trucks at any depot joined to them by road. No route is created without a depot that serves it, and a route without vehicles has a button to buy them. The Fleet and the other pages fit on a phone screen.
- Version 0.1.36
A smaller game: maps, models and rules are downloaded from the game's service. A new game lists the published maps and downloads the chosen one when you start; when you load a game, models and rules move to the latest versions while the map stays the game's own. Off Wi-Fi, downloads over 50 MB ask first. Options · Downloads shows the space used.
- Version 0.1.35
Live construction: the ground is marked out, the machines get to work and you watch the build progress — asphalt laid behind the roller, buildings rising inside the scaffolding, bridges closing in from both banks — and everything is cleared away at the end. Each job takes 3 to 8 s, and nothing under construction is used until it is finished. Lighter on phones.
- Version 0.1.34
Roads outside towns are laid point by point, as in towns: each tap adds a point and the road runs straight or turns a corner. Drag the + in the middle of a stretch to bend it to where you lift your finger. Tapping an industry puts the point in front of its gate, and gates still without a road are marked. Motorways use the same points, with rounded corners.
- Version 0.1.33
Much more varied cities: 144 new buildings (houses, apartment blocks, shops and 6 new public services), and each city has its own style. Cities build every kind of public facility, several of each, and larger ones in big cities. Renewed trucks: mudguards and bumpers, modern 2000 cabs and electric cabs, and a bigger cab on the semi-trailer truck. Fewer stray stripes on buildings.
- Version 0.1.32
More detail at a distance: buses only turn into boxes, and cities into blocks, once they can no longer be told apart. Cities where you have no stops or terminals no longer go into decline. In a new game, each passenger on board counts as 28.
- Version 0.1.31
Mail and valuables: each warehouse collects mail from the buildings around it and valuables from the shops, holds them for up to two months, and trucks take them to the warehouse of another city (valuables only in rigid trucks). They pay per tonne and km, on the Mail and Valuables lines of the accounts.
- Version 0.1.30
Freight: trucks at depots, and freight routes from an industry to the factory that accepts its cargo, or to a warehouse built in a city, paid per tonne and km. The truck body depends on the cargo. Each product delivered to the warehouse makes the city grow. Games from earlier versions won't open: start a new game.
- Version 0.1.29
Industries: 25 farms, forests, mines, oil wells and factories outside the cities, always in the same places, each with its monthly output and its own page. The list is in Cities · Industries. A road to the gate connects them to the network. Games from earlier versions won't open: start a new game.
- Version 0.1.28
New route: Create route and ↶ always visible at the bottom of the panel, a line with the type, the distance between stations and the ticket, and the stops in a sliding row. Pages scroll from any point, including charts, text fields and the bus in the showroom.
- Version 0.1.27
Main menu: Continue, New game, Load game, Options, How to play and Credits. Multiple games, each in its own slot, with a list for opening or deleting them. A new game is set up in three steps: company, map and rules (difficulty, driving side and route rules). How to play in six pages. Games from earlier versions are not carried over to the list.
- Version 0.1.26
Startup: on phones, the splash screen and loading always stay in portrait; the game only rotates with the phone once you're in. On tablets, everything follows the device's orientation.
- Version 0.1.25
News: a fictional newspaper, with headlines from each decade, explains changes in the economy, what's happening in your cities, new buses and the company's milestones, in a strip over the map that doesn't pause the game. At the close of each year, the year's summary comes out. It's all in Goals, in the News and Years tabs.
- Version 0.1.24
Goals with prizes: six chapters, from Lisbon to the whole Peninsula, with a cash prize for each goal and a prize for each chapter. The top bar shows the next goal (tap it to open the Goals page), and there's also a Goals button on the Company page. Prizes are claimed in Goals and go into the company's revenue, on the Prizes line.
- Version 0.1.23
Menu ☰ · Credits: new Privacy policy button, which opens the policy in the browser.
- Version 0.1.22
New games with a fine-tuned economy: 5-minute months, a ticket of €1 + €0.065/km, 100% regularity with one visit every 45 s, and passengers giving up after 90 s. Buses no longer block one another at city crossroads. Cities grow in plots per month: each service factor and the global economy add or take away plots, and the city page shows how many. With a negative total, buildings are abandoned; with good service, they are the first to recover.
- Version 0.1.21
Clouds and their shadows on the ground move with the wind, and the shadows are easier to see.
- Version 0.1.20
Fix: buildings no longer rise slightly every time you zoom out and back in, and city streets follow the terrain again when the game opens.
- Version 0.1.19
Faster startup: the map gets ready in about a quarter of the time. From afar, cities are drawn as simple blocks, buses are boxes in the company colour, and buildings and roads switch to the simple model sooner, with no stutters when zooming. New construction sites: during the work you see the site, and at the end the structure appears in its place.
- Version 0.1.18
Performance and battery: networks of up to 200 buses run smoothly on iPhone, even at 4× (the calendar slows down slightly if needed, the screen doesn't); only visible buses are drawn; when paused and untouched, the game draws 10 frames per second; with a menu on top, the map isn't drawn; the end of each month no longer freezes the game; when the phone is hot, 30 frames per second and slightly reduced graphics until it cools down.
- Version 0.1.17
Urban and intercity routes: a route whose stops and terminals are all in the same city is urban; a route between cities only links terminals. Stops can only be built inside cities; outside them you use a terminal, which counts as part of the nearest city. Routes show a front-on bus (urban) or the motorway symbol (intercity), and Routes and Fleet can be filtered by Urban and Intercity.
- Version 0.1.16
Routes on the map: when choosing stops, when editing a route and in View on map, the route appears as a line in its colour, in each lane the bus drives in, with arrows in the direction of travel and the number of each stop in visiting order. The return from the last stop to the first is shown too; between stops with no road you see a dashed red line.
- Version 0.1.15
Buses by era: in a new game, only the 1980 models can be bought; the 2000 and 2025 models appear in the showroom with “On sale in 2000” (or 2025) and arrive in January of that year, with a notice, and the previous era's models stop being sold. Automatic renewal replaces a model that's no longer on sale with the current era's model of the same type.
- Version 0.1.14
Calendar: the date shows the year and month (for example 1980 · Month 1), with a thin bar that fills up over the month, and the Company page, the charts and the results use real years and months. Buses move at the same speed whatever the length of the month.
- Version 0.1.13
Cities: the cities where the company is present come first, from largest to smallest; sorting by name, inhabitants or service; filters by presence, level and trend, and search by name. On the city page, stops can be sorted by waiting passengers, demand served or revenue, and open with a tap. On the stop page, buttons for the routes that call there and for its city.
- Version 0.1.12
Construction: Roads, Transport and Terrain tabs, with Delete and Exit in the corner and the Interchange as a tool of its own; Undo, Cancel and Build always on the last row. Roads show pins A, B, C… at each point; drag a pin to move it, or tap it to Undo or Remove point. Undo goes back one action at a time, to the start of the drawing.
- Version 0.1.11
Depot: shows the buses parked there and a Buy buses button. New showroom: one bus at a time, by swiping or with arrows, with bars comparing price, seats, speed, monthly cost and service life; filters by type, era, balance and route; the route is chosen from cards before paying.
- Version 0.1.10
New look: two themes to choose from in Menu ☰ · Options · Look, Metro line and Departures board, each light or dark (Automatic follows the phone); five sections with an icon and name at the bottom, or in a column on the left with the phone in landscape; in landscape, pages open in a panel beside the map; every page has a back button, which also works with Android's back.
- Version 0.1.9
Projects: deleting a piece built within the same project removes it as if it had never been planned, with the terrain restored to how it was; terrain adjustments in the same area merge into a single action; a bus no longer creates conflicts in the project; building exits construction mode; the conflict warning fits on a phone screen.
- Version 0.1.8
Traffic: on the road, at crossroads and at depots, buses pass one another and no longer get stuck; near terminals and at stops they queue without overlapping. Motorway interchanges: smooth curves, always in lane, slowing down and speeding up gradually. Expanded terminals with their access roads open to the gates.
- Version 0.1.7
Stops: there's no longer a limit on waiting passengers. Anyone who waits too long gives up, and those who have waited longest board first. The stop page shows last month's boardings and passengers who gave up.
- Version 0.1.6
Cities: each city's page shows how much each indicator counts towards growth. Regularity counts each stop separately.
- Version 0.1.5
Construction projects, to plan works without paying and build everything in one go; 3×3 terminals; filters on the Routes page; giving land back to the city.
- Version 0.1.4
More reliable one-finger taps; more permissive construction, with automatic tunnels; compact motorway interchanges with a viaduct; roads, bridges and tunnels no longer have a monthly cost; new Bank page; buying land and buildings in cities.
- Version 0.1.2
New Company page, with the company's accounts in charts.
- Version 0.1.1
A tap on a stop's shelter, or next to it, selects the nearest stop; View on map for a depot centres it on the map; Android's back button and gesture do the same as the game's back and never exit the game.
- Version 0.1.0
First test version: the Iberian Peninsula with its cities, roads, stops, terminals and depots, bus routes and the company's accounts.
