Terms of use
Last updated: 6 October 2026
By installing or playing Transport Commander, or by using this site, you accept these terms. Please read them together with the Privacy policy.
1. Publisher
The Transport Commander game (the “app”), the service that delivers its content and the site transportcommander.maandrik.com are published by Maandrik, Lda, a private limited company (sociedade por quotas) registered in Portugal, NIPC 519463625, with its registered office at Rua Cimeira, n.º 11, Olalhas, Aboboreira Cimeira, 2300-061 Tomar, Portugal (“we”). Contact: geral@maandrik.com.
2. Licence to play
We grant you a personal, free, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to install the app on your devices and to play it, for private and non-commercial use. The terms of the store from which you obtained the app (for example, the Google Play Terms of Service) also apply.
3. What you may not do
- Copy, sell, rent or distribute the app or its content, or any part of them.
- Extract, reuse or publish the game's maps, models, images or texts outside the game.
- Decompile or modify the app, except where the law permits it.
- Use the content service outside the app, carry out bulk or automated downloads, or attempt to overload, attack or circumvent the security of the service or the site.
4. Ownership of the content
The app, the game maps, the 3D models, the interface, the texts, the images, and the Transport Commander name and logo belong to Maandrik, Lda, which reserves all rights. Some parts belong to third parties and are used under their licences, listed in Menu ☰ · Credits: the Godot Engine (MIT licence), the Barlow, Archivo and DotGothic16 typefaces (SIL Open Font License 1.1), the Lucide icons (ISC licence), the Mapzen Terrain Tiles elevation data and the Natural Earth coastline and river data.
The name, colours and logo you choose for your company in the game remain only in your games.
5. The game and its content
- The game is a simulation. The terrain and the cities on the map are inspired by the Iberian Peninsula, but the game's streets, buildings, industries, companies, figures and newspaper are fictional and do not represent real places, companies or data.
- The maps, models, rules and metadata may be updated through the service without a new version of the app. Each game keeps the map it started with; the models, metadata and rules move to the latest versions when the game is loaded.
- A very old version of the app may stop receiving content until it is updated in the store.
- The game is in development: a new version may not open games from earlier versions. What's new states when this happens.
- We do our best to keep the service available, but it may be interrupted for maintenance, faults or causes beyond our control.
6. Price
The app is free, has no ads and has no in-app purchases. If in-app purchases are ever introduced, they will be made through the store, and these terms and the privacy policy will be updated beforehand.
7. Liability
The app, the service and the site are provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for the loss of games or of data on the device, for interruptions to the service or for indirect damage resulting from the use of the game or the site. Nothing in these terms limits our liability in cases where the law does not allow it, such as wilful misconduct or gross negligence, nor the rights the law gives you as a consumer.
8. Links to other sites
This site contains links to third-party sites, such as Google Play. We are not responsible for the content or the practices of those sites.
9. Changes
We may change these terms, for example when the game gains new features. The version in force is always available at this address, with the date of the last update. If a change is significant, we will give notice on the site before it takes effect.
10. Governing law and courts
These terms are governed by Portuguese law. The Portuguese courts have jurisdiction over any dispute, without prejudice to the rules that allow a consumer to bring proceedings before the courts of the country where they live.
In the event of a consumer dispute, you may also refer it to an alternative dispute resolution body; the list is available on the Portal do Consumidor (the Portuguese consumer portal), at www.consumidor.gov.pt. You may also use the Livro de Reclamações Eletrónico (electronic complaints book).
This European Portuguese version is the original. The other languages are translations; in case of doubt, the Portuguese version prevails, without prejudice to the rights the law of your country gives you as a consumer.
